This Cookie Policy describes the types of cookies and similar technologies used by the fasspa.net website, the purposes of their use, and how users can manage their preferences.

This document is drafted in compliance with the GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679), Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, and the "Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools" issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on June 10, 2021.

2.1 Technical cookies (always active)

These are cookies necessary for the correct functioning of the website and the provision of the services requested by the user. Without these cookies, some functionalities might not be available.
Technical cookies do not require the user's consent under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. They are divided into:

navigation or session cookies, which ensure the normal navigation and use of the website
functional cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (e.g., language) in order to improve the service provided
cookie preference cookies, which store the user's choices made on the consent banner

2.2 Profiling and marketing cookies (require consent)

These are cookies used to track the user's navigation and create profiles on their tastes, habits, and choices, also for the purpose of sending targeted advertising messages. The fasspa.net website does not use its own profiling cookies.

2.3 Analytical cookies (require consent, subject to exceptions)

These are cookies used to collect aggregated information on the number of users and how they visit the site. Currently, the site does not use statistical analysis tools with cookies. Any future activation of such tools will be preceded by an update to this Cookie Policy.

3. Third-Party Cookies and Services Used on the Website

The site integrates certain services provided by third parties which, for their functioning, may install cookies on the user's device or transmit navigation data. The use of these services is subject to the user's express consent, collected via the cookie banner on the site.

3.1 Google reCAPTCHA

Provider: Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland)

Purpose: protection of contact forms from automated use and abuse (spam, bots)

Type: third-party profiling cookie

Data processed: IP address, browsing activity on the site, device information

3.2 Google Maps

Provider: Google Ireland Limited

Purpose: display of interactive maps showing the location of the FAS S.p.A. headquarters

Type: third-party profiling cookie

Data processed: IP address, browsing activity, device information, geolocation data (if authorized by the user)

3.3 YouTube (embedded video)

Provider: Google Ireland Limited

Purpose: playback of video content integrated into the website pages

Type: third-party profiling cookie

Mode: the site uses, where technically possible, the "advanced privacy" mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which limits the installation of cookies until the user actually interacts with the video player

Data processed: IP address, browsing activity, viewing preferences, device information

3.4 Google Fonts

Provider: Google Ireland Limited

Purpose: loading of typographic fonts used by the site

Type: does not install cookies, but involves a connection to Google servers resulting in the transmission of the IP address

3.5 flagcdn.com

Provider: FlagCDN (Content Delivery Network service)

Purpose: loading of national flag images in the sections of the site related to international projects

Type: does not install cookies, but involves a connection to the CDN resulting in the transmission of the IP address

4. How to Manage Cookie Preferences

Upon first accessing the site, a cookie banner is displayed informing the user about the use of cookies and allowing them to express their choices:

Accept all — all cookies, including third-party ones, are activated
Reject all — all cookies not strictly necessary for the functioning of the site are deactivated
Customize — the user can choose which categories of cookies to activate

The user can modify their preferences at any time by clicking on the "Cookie Preferences" link located in the footer of the site, which reopens the consent management panel.

The given consent is recorded by the system and kept as proof of the expressed will, in accordance with the principle of accountability provided by the GDPR.

5. How to Disable Cookies from the Browser

In addition to the consent management tools provided by the site, the user can disable or limit cookies directly from their browser settings. Procedures vary depending on the browser used:

This Cookie Policy may be subject to changes over time, particularly in the event of the introduction of new services on the site or the evolution of applicable legislation.
Users are therefore invited to regularly consult this document, which will always indicate the date of the last update.
