Ethical Code
Foreword
F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio, a leading company in the national and international market since 1967 in fire prevention and extinction systems, bases its corporate mission, among other aspects, on attention to the Customer, who is considered a wealth for the Company. F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio considers the sharing of values on which its business activity is based as fundamental, both by its personnel and by its partners and collaborators, and for this reason, it has adopted this Ethical Code.
The Ethical Code
The Ethical Code of F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio contains the set of values, principles, and rules of conduct that inspire the Company in the exercise of its activity.
F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio considers compliance by its directors, employees, consultants, and collaborators with the ethical rules to which the company conforms as essential.
F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio has, therefore, drafted and adopted this Ethical Code with the main objective of confirming its corporate reputation, whose work is inspired by the principle of reliability, good administration, and is carried out in full adherence to ethical and social rules.
Value of the Ethical Code
Compliance with the rules of this Ethical Code is an essential part of the contractual obligations of the employees of F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio pursuant to and for the purposes of articles 2104, 2105, and 2106 of the Italian Civil Code as well as, pursuant to and for the purposes of articles 2392 and 2407 of the Italian Civil Code, for its directors and statutory auditors.
The violation of the provisions contained in this Ethical Code may also be relevant as disciplinary offenses if compatible with specialized provisions or the sector's National Collective Labor Agreement (C.C.N.L.) (metalworking industry Confindustria Art. 1 and following, in relation to the obligations of workers) and Corporate Supplementary Contracts.

Honesty
The company considers it an essential element that the conduct of its representatives and employees be sincere, loyal, and transparent, as well as respectful of laws and regulations.
Within their respective corporate competencies and attributions, employees, corporate bodies and their individual members, agents, attorneys, internal and external consultants, within the scope of the assigned task or the project in which they are involved, subject to compliance with the deontological rules of the professional order to which they belong, suppliers, and in general anyone who has relationships with F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio are required to scrupulously observe, in addition to the legal duties connected to the respective activities and services, also those contained in this Code.
In no case can the pursuit of the Company's interest justify conduct that does not comply with the principle of honesty.
The Company will not initiate or continue any relationship with those who do not intend to adhere to this principle.
Potential conflicts of interest

Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio believes it is the duty of anyone operating within the company, even occasionally or de facto, to avoid situations, even potential ones, of conflict of interest. F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio therefore requires compliance with the prohibition of pursuing an interest other than that of the company, or a personal advantage for oneself or third parties in the management, even occasional, of corporate affairs.

Confidentiality and Privacy
F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio believes it is the duty of anyone operating within the company, even occasionally or de facto, to observe the prohibition of not using information of any kind, confidential and non-confidential, acquired due to the company's activity for purposes not connected with the exercise of their job duties; every employee must keep confidential the information and news learned due to their functions.
F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio undertakes to apply the regulations relating to the protection of personal data and to update its procedures according to the regulations.
Internet usage
F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio undertakes to avoid corporate use of the internet for reasons not strictly related to work reasons and will sanction every abusive and, in any case, unlawful act. The Company may adopt any IT procedure aimed at preventing improper use of the corporate network, including through special filters that prevent access to pornographic and child pornographic sites.
Duties
The directors, executives, corporate managers, employees, collaborators, and consultants of F.A.S. S.p.A. Fabbrica Apparecchiature Antincendio, in relationships with colleagues, third parties, and top superiors, in compliance with the principles indicated above, are required to behave in accordance with:
- honesty, loyalty, and transparency;

- collaboration;

- confidentiality;

- courtesy;

- observance of functions;
- observance of competencies;
- observance of the procedures adopted by the Company;
- observance of this Ethical Code.
Communication and training
This Ethical Code is disseminated through the corporate methods considered most suitable to all employees, to the members of the administrative bodies, to those of the Board of Statutory Auditors, to external collaborators, and to third parties with whom the company enters into business relationships or with whom it participates in tenders.
A copy of this document is also posted on the notice board dedicated to internal circulars or at the Personnel Office and may be included as a simple attachment to contracts stipulated between the company and third parties.
